We can’t stop talking about the Seattle Sounders’ CCL win, so we spend some time on Niko’s experience in D.F. travelling with the media team, the general atmosphere of the stadium, the locker room, and the courting rituals of stadium-goers in the biggest city in the Western Hemisphere.
Then we talk about the impact of that win on the choices Garth Lagerwey and Brian Schmetzer will have to make before the window closes, whether we’re back in form, and what the Sounders’ greatest needs will be for the remainder of the season.

What a season it’s been. After a cascade of disasters, your FBT team is back to wrap up the season and walk you through our expectations going in to 2019. We start with a reasoned assessment of the Sounders 2018 season success, move to anticipated roster changes and speculative signings, and our thoughts on the 2018 Alliance Business Meeting.
What a great match, and a great week overall for Seattle Sounders FC on both sides of the county line! Despite a despicable performance by the referee, our boys have taken home eight (count 'em eight!!) straight wins to extend the unbeaten streak to 11.
The Flounders B-Team knows how to do it right: we do a little celebration of success this week by joining Doyle's Public House on their Designated Driver Express bus to see the KC Wizards get their wands broken by our Boys in Rave Green. Nate, Steve, and Tim are joined by a few friends, family, and fans of the show (it's hard to tell the difference some times!) We talk about current events (Bye, Clint, say it ain't so and so on), tactical observations & formation, and what we're drinking. We continue the conversation on the bus, then Tim and Steve recap the match in studio.

Cat, Steve, Tim, and Kevin jump in to provide pre-match, halftime, and post-match coverage live to tape! (Congratulations, Belgium.) Seattle faces Portscum in enemy territory. The match was a doozy, but limited disciplinary calls from Chris Penso made for a very chippy match. Portland came to play, but, true to form, their idiotic tifo definitely cursed Joey's chainsaw.
Own-goal victory aside, we have some questions, and we try to answer them. We also have a lot of fun along the way, in true FBT style.
